An all over scrolling pattern with drapes of beads moulded into the glass make the Madrid pattern by Federal a recognizable favorite.
This Madrid Amber Depression Glass creamer measures 3-1/8 inches tall. It stands on a 2-3/8 inch diameter foot, and is 3-5/8 inches at the rim, 5 inches across the handle and spout.
Made by Federal Glass from 1932 to 1939, there is no mark.
There are two small edge chips along the underside of the foot. The largest of these is just 3/8-inch long. These do not affect stability and are barely visible from the top. There is also a 1/8-inch edge nick at the top of the second rib to the right of the spout. These defects can be seen in the first photo.
