Presented for your consideration is an Antique pair of embroidery scissors made from steel . The shanks come together to form a swan. The details are solidly engraved on both sides. The blades are tight with intact points and they cut beautifully to the tips. The condition is excellent with no rust or discoloration. A pair can be seen on p. 116 of Gay Ann Rogers' book An Illustrated History of Needlework Tools.
