Original & Complete Palais Royal Necessaire with solid carved Mother-of-pearl shell shaped cover c.1700's,France

This is a stunning VERY hard to find Palais Royal,solid Mother of Pearl cover with gold area for monogramming , Shell shaped sewing box. Laid inside are 9 sewing tools made from Mother-Of-.Pearl, and gold or silver plate with the Palais Royal floral thimble. Tools included are a beautiful carved scissors, 3 snowflake winders and 2 bodkin winders, a thimble, awl, needle holder, bodkin, ear scoop, and a tambian hook. Between the tools and mirrored inside cover rests an original protective pad. Also inside is a gorgeous built in embroidered pin holder.This incredible sewing kit from the late 1700's in France sits on 3 golden cub feet.
