A rare "Little Annie Roonie" by Joseph Kallus and distributed by Borgfeldt. She is from the comic strip by Jack Collins in the 1920's. She was produced for a very short amount of time. She Is 17 inches tall with a one piece compo head and torso and joined compo arms and skinny legs with hand painted shoes and socks. She has a delightful face with round side glancing, hand painted eyes, a button nose and a wonderful smile. She has an original blonde string hair. She does not have an original costume but is redressed in an appropriate outfit of a plaid cotton dress and a felt coat which is like what she was originally dressed in with a red knit Tam hat. Her compo is excellent with some minor crazing to face. The line across left eye is a piece of hair and is not a crack]and a fleck on leg. Her shoes have some scuffing on the bottom. She is all original and difficult to find in any condition. She was produced for a short time by Cameo Dolls and her hands depict the Cameo Doll Co.
