A vintage 21 jewel Automatic winding wrist watch by "Orient It has the matching "Orient band with the watch. The face measures 7/8 inch across and the watch has a day and date feature. It is fully marked on back and reads stainless steel and water resistant. It is currently running but may need cleaning. There are scratches to crystal.
In 1901 Shogoro Yoshida opened a wholesale shop called "Yoshida Watch Shop" in Tokyo, Japan. Yoshida’s wristwatch manufacturing company was reborn in 1950 and in 1951 became "Orient" Watch Co. and in 2001 became a subsidiary of "Seiko" Watch Co.
