This is a gorgeous religious statue. It is a young Virgin Mary carrying a sleeping infant Christ. Our lady is shown in flowing robes with a veil covering her braided hair. She is resting one hand protectively and lovingly on the bundled Jesus who is snuggled in close. It is stunning.
