This is a rare photo from WWII showing a father in his WWI uniform (that still fits him) and his son in his WWII uniform. Notice the 3rd Infantry patch on the father's left shoulder. This division was coined "The Rock of Marne" because of their steadfast defense of Paris during WWI. The son is a young corporal, proudly standing next to his father. Behind them is their 1930s/40s sedan. The photo was hand touched around the lips and gold toned around the buttons and insignia. Another thing is notice the father's service medal with the 3 campaign bars. The photo is an 8" X 10" and comes with a 1960s period frame, just to keep it safe for shipping purposes.
