Description: Offered here are a pair of Victorian silverplate napkin rings each with a pair of doves with open wings that support the round ring, the rings have a floral motif. They have a lovely worn patina.
Period: Victorian (1837 - 1901), these rings are circa 1880.

Information/History: Dove - The symbol of love, peace and is associated as a messenger. They are manufactured by Meriden Britannia Silver Company, Meriden, CT. Established in 1852 and in 1898 became part of International Silver Company.
Measurements/Size: 2" high x 3 1/4" wide x 1 1/2" wide.
Condition: Fair, silver loss on the doves and base.
