Description: This set of five lovely Georgian period teaspoons are done in the classical style. All of the spoons have the same monogram, and each has incredible weight!
Period: Georgian (1713 - 1837), these spoons are 1794-95.
Hallmarks: Lion Passant for sterling, Leopard head for London, lower case "t" for 1794-95, the King's head in profile for the duty mark, and PB AB.
Information/History: Ann Bateman married Jonathan Bateman, Peter's brother. In 1791 Jonathan died and left all his property to his wife. She then joined with Peter and worked in Neoclassical style.
