Description: This sweet little school medal is for a Miss Elizabeth Barrett and was for second honor. The medal is sterling silver (tested) and has a hand engraved bar at the top with her name and the back has a pin stem and "c" clasp (not in sterling, but original). The pendant that is suspended from the bar is a round, and engraved, eight point star with "Second Honor Senior Circle Department". The back of the pendant is engraved with "Mt. de Sales Academy of the Visitation, June 11, 1907". The school is located in Catonsville, Maryland, in Baltimore County.
Period: Edwardian (1901 - 1914), this is dated 1907.
Measurements: Bar pin - 1 1/8" wide x 3/8" high, the pendant - 1 1/4" wide, and the total length is 1 3/4" long. The pin weighs 5.77 grams.
