Description: Here is a one of a kind 19K (stamped and tested), yellow gold, hand hammered, bloodstone intaglio ring designed by the the renowned jewelry designer Elizabeth Locke. The ring consists of an antique bloodstone (a very dark quartz, green with red specs) intaglio that is bezel-set with a split shank that has two round balls on each side of the setting. The bloodstone intaglio has a shield shape, with a bouquet of flowers in the center and three fleur de lis (most likely French). This is truly a magnificent ring that will be handed down many generations!

Information: Elizabeth Locke is an American jewelry designer that established E. Locke Jewels in 1989. She draws inspiration from antiquities such as the Greeks, Romans and Etruscans. She incorporates period items, when she can, such as antique intaglios, micro mosaics, Chinese gaming pieces, Essex crystals, et al.
Measurements/Size: Top - 18.5 millimeters (mm) long x 15.5 mm wide, shoulders - 12.0 mm (ball to ball), shank - 4.0 mm at the bottom. The ring is a size 6 1/4 and can be sized up or down a size or two, but would recommend that you send the ring back to Elizabeth Locke since this ring is 19K yellow gold and has a very distinctive hand hammered pattern. The gross weight of the ring is 10.84 grams.
