This rare diamond bangle bracelet was made by unknown master in Harkov, Ukraine during the reign of Czar Nicholas I (1825-1855). This bracelet shows the characteristics of fine jewelry workmanship from tsarist Russia. Designed as rose gold bangle, the top is enhanced with a cluster of old European-cut. Of hinged construction, the interior of hidden clasp is stamped with Cyrillic maker's initials GN, 56, the Russian gold standard for 14k, and the hallmark for Harkov (cornucopia and scepter). DTW is appr. 2.4 ct, old European cut. It has a secure hidden clasp. Total weight is 32.2 gr. Interior of opening measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/2cm.
