Presented to you, one absolutely gorgeous estate cameo, hand-carved in stone - brown agate -, the background a carmel-brown, the foreground, milky white. This is truly an amazing piece. Mint condition.

The cameo measures 1 1/4" X 1 1/2". Atop the cameo sits a "crown" with "rosebud settings", containing 5 small, but full-cut diamonds, weighing approximately .30 carats. IJ color, SI clarity - smashing.

The cameo is set in 14 KG, and can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant.

The carving is superb, rich in detail and cleanly carved. Note the lady's elegant coiffure, her beaded necklace, triangular earring and buttons on her frock.

Note, also, she faces the more rare left-handed position.

Hallmark back of piece, "Soret 14KG" - Soret - dating from the 1940's and 1950's - which is the vintage of this piece.
