Hand carved in a lovely striated carmel-color genuine Tiger's Eye - set in 14KG - it is hallmarked such on the bottom of the right hand "column": Square cameo, double image of two helmeted Roman warriors. The overall dimensions of the cameo are 25 MM width X 20 MM height X 6 MM thickness. The center oblong cameo measures 10 MM width X 13 MM height, and is set, securely, with four grommets, each corner. The two "columns", either side, flank the center cameo - unusual piece. The bail on top is 6 MM in height. Gold "caps" encase the bottoms of the "columns"; on top they band around the "columns". It is my estimation that the center cameo dates from circa 1915; and it was then incorporated with the "columns" into this interesting design circa 1930. Wonderful condition. No chips, no cracks. Weight is 7.7 grams/.272 ounces.
