Amphora Pottery Vase - Bohemia, 20th Century
This subtle double-gourd body with two handles is hand-painted with yellow poppies against a sponged green and purple ground. There is an imcised “AMPHORA” within an oval and an incised decorator's monogram very similar to that of the Reissnor, Stellmacher & Kessey Amphora mark. The vase is 12 ½” tall with a 4 ¾” diameter base and a 2” x 2 ½” oval opening at the top. It is about 12” wide at the handles.
This very vibrant colored vase is in very good condition with no damages or repairs.
