Antique “Scinde” Flow Blue Bowl – 10 ½”
This Vibrant Flow Blue Bowl was produced by John & George Alcock at Stoke-on-Trent Potteries, Cobridge, Staffordshire, England. The pattern is "Scinde" and dates approximately 1840-1845. The 12 sided bowl is 10 ½” in diameter and is in very good condition with the exception of shallow 1/8” chip on the rim as shown in the first photo. The chip is at 11 o’clock on the bowl. The bowl has a blue SCINDE within a blue wreath and an embossed “Oriental Stone J&G Alcock”. The bowl has some light crazing of the finish.
