An 18ct gold and silver (925) rectangular pearl and diamond set brooch, there are 85 small brilliant cut diamonds and two pearls ( presumably cultured - they have not been tested ), the pearls are set centre and the surround is a pierced scroll pattern set with the diamonds as is the border of the piece. This beautiful piece is from the transitional period from the Art Nouveau to Art Deco and probably dates from the 1910-20 period.
