Garnet set Gothic style cross as pendant/earring; the flat back facetted garnets are set in a very low carat gold mount.

Weight : 7 g. ( 1/4 ounce ).

Condition : very good.

This is typical garnet jewellery from the 1840-1900 period - unfortunately, not stamped / signed - some of these wares were made in England and many in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Garnet gold as it was called is only 6-8 ct. but when polished gives a very good impression.
