The German costume jewellery manufacturer Henkel & Grosse, founded in 1907 by Heinrich Henkel and Florentin Grossé. The company is known for its exacting standards and produces a range of quality pieces which are highly sought after.
Henkel & Grosse has a long history of working with leading fashion houses and made pieces for Lanvin and Schiaparelli in Paris among others. The company began working in partnership with Christian Dior in 1955 and went on to be licensed as the sole producers and distributors of Dior jewelry. Henkel & Grosse pieces were retailed by high end stores including Harrods of London and Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.
