A very attractive silver ( 800 standard ) vintage continental cigarette case with a very interesting engraved crest. The interior was given a gold wash. The piece was stamped for its silver standard ( 800 ) and with a maker's mark ( U. O. & Co. ). Probably of Italian origin.

Size : L 9 cm. ( 3 35/64" ) x B 7.8 cm. ( 3 5/64" ) x H 1 cm. ( 0 25/64" ).

Weight : 110 g. ( 3.9 ounces ).

Condition : very good - shows minute signs of everyday use ( greatly highlighted by the digital camera ! ). It is minus the original elastic bands.
