An early Continental vintage, 1930s, round, silver ( 800 standard ) , engine turned compact with mirror. Stamped ' 800 ' plus an illegible maker's mark. The inner rim of metal surrounding the mirror itself is made of a white metal and is so appropriately stamped ( ' metal' )! The clasp works well and has a good firm grip.
