The hand blown glass molded into a quatralobed form with a yellow flash coating, with elaborate etching per panel, depicting jardinieres, exotic birds and some scroll design, mounted with a silver ( 800) rim.

The mark could be a crescent moon and a crown and 800 which would make it by a German silver factory a date from the 1930s to 1950s.
The glass has a thin yellow flash or coating over the clear glass body which has been finely engraved and cut with an elaborate fence or gate form. This type of work was mostly carried out by the various Bohemian glass factories which had a long tradition since the early 19th century.
