An early vintage silver sauce spoon/ladle by the famous Swiss silversmith Jezler. In 1822 Johann Jacob Jezler founded a silver manufacturing company, in order to smelt "equipment made from silver for a selected audience of guildsmen and church dignitaries". Jezler is the only manufacturer of real silver in Switzerland that continues to produce exclusive solid silver items. To connoisseurs the company is the custodian of the traditional handed- down craft of the silver- smith. This piece is of a classical early Jezler design.
