This is a stunning 10K hand carved curved shell scene cameo of a winged goddess holding a wine jug at a temple. I cannot pinpoint if it’s Iris or Hebe, but I am going with Iris as she was known to pore nectar to the gods. This one is exquisitely hand carved with great detail. I believe this piece to be Victorian that may have had the pin/clasp replaced at some point. It measures approximately 2“ x 1 1/2“ and is quite substantial. I could not find any marks but it tested 100% for 10 K. It is in wonderful antique condition and ready to wear. I can’t find another one like it, and this would be a wonderful addition to your collection.
