On offer for sale is an 18th. Century needlework sampler depicting the towns and counties of England and Wales. Signed and dated in needlework, but difficult to read. Looks to be 1782? or thereabouts. The last name looks to be Parker? The condition is distressed with wear holes, wear and discoloration. Having said that, this is still a great looking piece, especially when you consider it's over two hundred years old. It's in original condition and is still fixed to it's wooden backing. This is being sold unframed. Approximate dimensions 20 1/2 inches by 25 inches, so this is a large and impressive looking piece of very early needlework. Please check out all of the images to view the detailed needlework involved in this piece and the overall condition. This piece just needs to be professionally framed and it will offer many more years of enjoyment just as it is. The fact that it still exists today is amazing. As with all vintage pieces such as this you should not expect them to be perfect as this piece will show signs of age. AIRMAIL DELIVERY INCLUDING PACKING TO ALL PARTS OF THE USA & PARTS OF CANADA WILL BE $45, & TO PARTS OF AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND WILL BE $55. ITEMS USUALLY ARRIVE WITHIN JUST A FEW DAYS. This will be very well packaged in a custom made wooden box to ensure it's safe arrival. Payment can be with paypal from customers with CONFIRMED paypal accounts.
