This unusual spoon which is .826 silver was produced in Copenhagen Denmark in 1914 according to its marks. The maker's mark is LG. I believe this was L. Gronlund, who worked in Odense. The Assay master was Christian F. Heise (1904-1932).
The bowl of the spoon is shaped like a clam shell and has a one inch by one inch indention which forms a little well where the bowl meets the handle. The tip of the spoon is decorated with a shell motif. The spoon measures 7 inches long.
The surface shows light scratches but is overall in very nice condition.
