Pewter C.1930 Repro Irish Haystack Measure Marked Austin & Son, Cork Ireland 2 7/8"

Vintage pewter "haystack" style measure. This measure has some patina from age but very little wear. The mark on the bottom is that of the Austin & Son Cork, Imperial 94 North Main St., Ireland Company. The mark is only partial and looks worn but.... These measures were reproduced in the 1920's and 30's when Irish pewter became very collectable. The originals were made C. 1830. This has been judged a reproduction because although the mark on this looks worn, the rest of the body has very little wear and mainly the top and bottom rims are still quite crisp looking with very little wear.
