Refunds for cancelled layaways are not accepted, store credit only applies. Cancelled layaway credit can be transfered to a full purchase item and not another layaway.

OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS: PAYMENT We accept Paypal or bank wire payments only. Please note that although we are unable to take credit card payments over the phone you can use your credit or debit card for Paypal payments. Due to the introduction of a new refund policy by Paypal on 11 October 2019, which results in Paypal keeping their fees even if we issue a refund to you in the event of a return, we are forced from that date on to charge the 2.9% that the Paypal charges us on all returned items paid by Paypal as a re-stocking fee - we are so sorry about that! Pieces over $5000 must be paid by bank wire or TransferWise and you will receive a sales receipt immediately. SHIPPING We offer free, fully insured shipping via USPS and also expedited, fully insured shipping option at additional charge. Please choose your prefered shipping option at checkout. All Items sent to UK include Next Day Delivery shipping. Expedited shipping is via FedEx or DHL for aimed next day delivery to the US, customs depending. It takes about 2-3 days to AUS, HK, Japan etc. Please do message us before purchasing if you do not live in the UK, EU, USA, Canada, Australia or Japan for more info. We cannot ship to any countries in South America, India and Bangladesh, Nigeria, Egypt, Turkey, Ukraine, Romania, Russia, possibly others too. So please do message us before purchasing to make sure we can ship to you, thanks for understanding and sorry for any inconvenience! If paid via Paypal we only ship to the verified address on your Paypal account for both yours and our security, so that the insurance is valid. You can also have it shipped to your local FedEx facility, for you to collect. If this not convenient, please consider paying via bank wire or TransferWise. Please be sure to leave your contact telephone number(s) which we can pass to the courier. We provide a tracking number for all our shipments. IMPORT DUTY CHARGES Some countries charge an import duty and/or taxes. Please let us know which country you live in so we can try to help you check how much this will be for you, but ultimately it is your responsibility to find this out. USA does not charge any import duty for items over 100 years old and we provide an Antique Declaration with our shipments. Similarly, EU and HK also have no import duties on antique pieces. AUS, Japan and Canada do charge import duties. Please be aware of this and do check to avoid unexpected expense! LAYAWAY We offer flexible and friendly layaway options so please do get in touch if you would like to arrange a plan with us and discuss your preferences further. We offer a 6 month layaway as a standard but can extend this so do please contact us. Returned layaway items do not qualify for full refund but a store credit and exchange only. You can cancel the layaway at any point during the layaway term and for any reason. You can switch the store credit to another item paid in full at time of purchase. . Please be aware of this before making a purchase!! Thanks! INVOICING You will receive official ERA invoice at the end of your layaway payments or one invoice if paid in full in an email. PACKAGING Your item(s) will be be delivered to you securely packaged and in our lovely personalised jewellery boxes with fantastic pouches for your travels. If you intend your purchase as a gift we will include the gift packaging so you can make sure you are happy with your purchase and then gift wrap it yourself. RETURNS We want you to be absolutely delighted with your new old treasure and offer a full refund for all items paid in full at a time of purchase. Returned layaway items do not qualify for full refund but a store credit and exchange only. We regretfully do not offer returns on items altered in any way including re-sizing. In line with Rubylane Return Policy we ask to be notified within 3 days of receiving the piece of your intention to return and for it to be sent back within 3 days of hearing from us. We will refund your money within 3 working days of the receipt of the item via the same means that your payment was made by. Items are to be returned via original carrier and insured entirely at your cost, as per Rubylane policy. Items must be returned in the original packaging and the condition they were in at the time of sending. Before returning a package you MUST notify us first to check the return address and discuss the returning process please !!! We will not accept a package unless we have spoken to you first. For items damaged in shipment please refer to Rubylane returns policy - that, knock on wood, has not happened yet ! :) CARING FOR YOUR GEMS: Please message us for your after care info for your beautiful ERA gem. If a stone falls out, cracks, the piece breaks, because a piece is faulty (quite an extreme example but want to show you what we mean!!) and it is NOT due to carelessness, we will of course help/pay to restore your gem to it's former glory!! This is valid for 6 months. But please still get in touch if it is past the 6 months and we will still help you!!
