Pre-War 1930s GERMAN Art Deco Panel Bracelet
Finely made 800 Silver panel bracelet, likely made in Idar Oberstein, Germany, circa 1930
Featuring textured panels that simulate marcasites with inlaid red enamel forming darling daisy flowers. Each panel is connected by jump rings and terminates with a wide finger push-clasp, and affixed safety chain.
Hallmarked “AM. DBL” and what looks like “63K” or “G3K”.
AM. DBL stands for American Doublé which means gilded metal. Small traces of gilding can be seen with a loupe indicating this was likely “gilded” at one time, but now is silvertone.
Measures 6 1/2” L x 5/8” W
Condition is great, with the exception of the panel closest to the clasp has one single flower petal missing enamel. I didn't even notice until I looked at the bracelet with a loupe.
Delicate and finely made, a wonderful representation of pre-war german adornment.
