KTF (Trifari, Krussman & Fishel)
TRIFARI
Pre-1937
Tri-color/jewel-tone (emerald, ruby & sapphire) molded glass “fruit salad” stones, embellished with crystal rhinestones set in gold-plated articulated link bracelet, terminating with a foldover clasp.
designed by Alfred Philippe in the art deco style of the tutti frutti Cartier design.
Alfred Philippe was parisian born and trained at L’ Ecole Boulle, a prestigious design school. After he emigrated to the United States, he worked for William Scheer Inc which was known for manufacturing jewelry in the Deco era. Scheer created memorable designs for prestigous companies such as … maybe you heard of them??? … Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels.
In 1929, Philippe signed on as a designer with Trifari bringing his fine jewelry experience, where he became head designer until he retired in 1968. His fruit salad designs, such as this one, mimicked the tutti frutti designs made by Cartier in the 20’s.
The KTF hallmark is scarce to begin with, and the jewel-tone tri-color way is the MOST sought after and highly collectible. Similar bracelets are priced at $2,500 and up to 5-digit price tags! This is a fantastic piece of costume jewelry history and getting harder and harder to find at attainable prices.

Other Information
On any layaway, 20% of the down-payment is non-refundable. Unless Buyer AND Seller have come to an agreement (in writing) regarding change in payment terms (i.e. date of payment, frequency of payment, amount of payment), failure to make a payment when due will create a presumption that Buyer wishes to cancel the purchase at which time, Seller will retain the 20% non-refundable deposit , return any remaining balance to the Buyer, and return the item to inventory immediately. Installment payments are DUE on the agreed date(s), no exceptions.PACKAGE INSURANCE REQUIREMENT:
FOR THE BENEFIT OF BUYER AND SELLER, most all of my packages INCLUDE insurance. If the shipped item for any reason is lost or damaged, I will initiate an insurance claim and you as Buyer agree to cooperate and assist in the claim process. The insurance company I use makes this process simple and swift as long as cooperation is timely provided. PLEASE do not open a Return Request as this will just complicate and slow down the claims process. The insurance company REQUIRES that all packaging material and damaged goods must be kept in the original form as received. Packaging and damaged goods should not be disposed of or released to the carrier before a claim is completed as PHOTOGRAPHS will be REQUIRED. Failure to comply will result in the denial of the claim. Included in BUYER’s cooperation and assistance will require the completion of an Affidavit confirming the damage. If that becomes necessary, I will forward a URL with link to the form and BUYER agrees to complete same online and submit timely. This process is not intended to cause a nuisance but instead is intended to provide peace of mind and assurance that all parties are made whole in the event of loss or damage. Your cooperation is required and greatly appreciated.
