Circa 1920’s Signed THEODORE FAHRNER designed by Gustav Braendle, Pforzheim Germany ART DECO Necklace Pendant
featuring bezel set teardrop shaped frosted camphor glass pierced in the center with a 4-setting hand-set marcasite embellishment, all set in a slightly domed and elaborate pierced Sterling Silver design with fine millegrain edges. Flanking both sides are fabulous blister pearls, and encrusted with more marcasites. Across the top, is a row of 5 genuine chrysoprase cabochons highlighted by swirls of black enamel.
A true fine heirloom pendant. The WORKMANSHIP and MATERIALS are exquisite. A testament to why Theodore Farhner jewelry is so desirable, pricey and coveted by collectors.
Braendle took over the Fahrner company in 1919 and his name is synonymous with Fahrner’s.
Sterling, enamel, marcasites, chrysoprase, blister pearls, camphor glass….this beauty has it ALL!
