Over the past five years I have handled quite a few of Edward Goldman's original work. A prolific New England artist and printmaker his styles varied from Abstract and Modernist, to straight impressionism. I have always liked his Modernist work most. This is one of those and one of the finest I have come across. Titled in pen on the back of the stretcher, it says that it is a harbor in Maine. I dont know where but I actually think it looks more like Star Island of New Hampshire in the Isle of Shoals.
Oil on canvas board measuring 20 x 24 inches. Signed and dated lower left corner. Painting is in excellent condition. Clean and fresh. White painted wood frame is complimentary and ready to hang. Frame measures 33 3/4 x 29 1/2. If you have interest in other Goldman works, check my other store or email me and I will show you what I have.
