This gorgeous Hermes Scarf Kachinas, designed in 1992 by Kermit Oliver, is one of the most coveted of all Hermes designs. The artist, once a humble mailman from Texas, is the only American artist to be commissioned by Hermes to-date. Inspired by Native American traditions, the scarf depicts images of Kachina dolls from the Hopi tribe, believed to represent spirits or deities.
The scarf is in a wonderful Southwestern US colorway of turquoise, teal, deep red, gold, green and brown with peach, cream, and black accents and framed by a darker blue border. In LIKE NEW condition without issue and with caretag attached, the scarf comes in an orange Hermes box with brown logo ribbon. A great scarf for collectors!
