This gorgeous MidCentury Los Castillo water pitcher features a remarkable parrot handle inlaid with lapis and malachite. The handwrought pitcher stands over 14” tall, while the parrot handle perched on the rim measures 10” from his head to the tip of his tail feathers, complete with brass beak and onyx stone eyes.
The pitcher is beautifully crafted with striking details... even the ends of the parrot's perch are inlaid with lapis. It is in good vintage condition, with wear to the silverplating but no missing stone. Marked 383 Hecho en Mexico TA-01 Los Castillo Taxco Plateado.
