Nanna Ditzel (1923-2005) was an esteemed Danish designer whose work has been shown in many important exhibitions throughout the world, and has garnered numerous top design awards including the Milan Triennale (1951, 1957, 1960) and the Lunning Prize (1956). She began designing jewelry in 1950, and designed very few pieces for Georg Jensen, her work among those most prized by collectors.
