Antonio Pineda (1919-2009), was an internationally renowned Mexican Modernist silversmith praised for his bold, striking designs. He studied painting and sculpture as a child, and apprenticed at William Spratling's Taller de Las Delicias before founding his own workshop in 1941. He is the subject of "Silver Seduction: The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda" produced in conjunction with a 2008 exhibition of his work at UCLA's Fowler Museum.
This beautiful, rarely seen Antonio Pineda Modernist bracelet is a highly collectible architectural piece comprised of 10 conjoined c-links with a sturdy closure seamlessly integrated into the design.
