Antique brass and gilt ormolu French carriage clock has roccoco accented bands, bun feet, Louis XV doucine style, Arabic enamel dial chapter ring and sub dial, with gilt surrounding dial and chapter ring, bun feet and shaped top handle. Eight day movement, platform lever escapement and cylinder can be seen through beveled glass on top, and sides. Absolutely luminous and in great condition for age, with a minor exception (*needs one glass panel see below) and has been professionally tuned and serviced.
Comes with key, has been tuned and serviced ~all original parts from the late 19th century. Works great and keeps time accurately, amazing ~ just think of the history! *As shown in pictures, it does need one side beveled glass replaced due to crack, I chose to leave it as is, and will leave it to the new owner to replace if wanted (I can provide information on where it can be done, and the cost is approximately $75 ($40 for panel).
Please inquire for more information, I love talking about it too!
