This is a great old milk glass bottle that was originally a barber bottle. They were also used as dresser bottles. The base has a mold blown form, typical of very early American made bottles.
Some of the gold trim remains, but not much. Sometimes this was a "cold paint" decoration, and as such, wears away easily. There is a swirl design in the glass along with a deep molded leaf design around the bottom. This design is repeated on the stopper
CONDITION: The glass on the body is in great shape. Very minor chipping to the top edge above the beaded top rim. Otherwise it is fine.
SIZE: It is large and heavy measuring approx. 11-1/2" high with the stopper in place. The base is 5-3/4" across.
