This is an estate Larimar pendant. You can easily add your own chain because the opening is quite large.
The blue is an ocean blue. It has a beautiful luster and, although generally opaque, it can display a hint of translucency that sometimes makes it appear to glow.
The more intense the blue, and the more contrasts within in the stone, the more rare it is. and that makes it more valuable. This particular pendant is a gorgeous piece of Larimar.
****As an added note of caution, I have read that this blue color is slightly photosensitive. It can possibly fade with time if exposed to too much light and heat.
