Vintage Miriam Haskell chunky, faceted, clear lucite coil bracelet. It features "Russian Gold" findings.
MARKS: The Miriam Haskell brass tag identifies her as the designer of this gorgeous bracelet.
CONDITION: The faceted lucite beads are clear and in very good condition. None are chipped or broken. The safety chain is missing. The brass wiring appears to have a very slight amount of discoloration but is still bright inside the beads themselves.
SIZE: Will fit most! Uncoiled, it measures around 9-1/2" and is 1-1/2" wide. The coiling is very flexible.
HISTORY: Miriam Haskell began business in 1924 when she came from Indiana to NYC and opened a shop. She started the Miriam Haskell Company in 1926. No jewelry was marked in any permanent way from 1926 until 1947, and only occasionally marked from 1947 until 1949. Haskell sold her business in 1954 to Frank Hess and Morris Kensler, and it has had various owners since then. The company is still in business today.
