This is a massive bracelet. It is a creamy color Lucite plastic. There are 4 decorative areas of details with textured gold tone findings set with faux cream and coral stones.
Lucite was invented in 1931 at DuPont. It was crystal clear, resistant to water and UV rays, and stronger than previous plastics. After WW11, the plastics were used for jewelry and other items. Lucite rings and purses were very popular during the '50s and '60s.
CONDITION: Very fine pre-owned condition. Ready to wear.
SIZE: 1-1/4 wide and just over 1/4" thick The inside open measurement is 2-1/2" across. You have to be able to slip your hand through this opening because there is no hinge.
