These vintage earrings are clip on style. They are hand wired onto filigreed Russian gold findings. Quality seed beads, rhinestones and delicate detailing complete the look that is secured to a mother of pearl disk. Haskell designer Frank Hess was known to use mother of pearl in his designs.

HISTORY: Miriam Haskell began business in 1924 when she came from Indiana to NYC and opened a shop. She started the Miriam Haskell Company in 1926. No jewelry was marked in any permanent way from 1926 until 1947, and only occasionally marked from 1947 until 1949. Haskell sold her business in 1954 to Frank Hess and Morris Kensler, and it has had various owners since then. The company is still in business today.
