HISTORY: The Hattie Carnegie Co. made jewelry from the early 1920's until 1970's. Her designs were always considered unique since she did not follow the trends of the larger jewelry makers of that era. It is said that Joan Crawford, the movie star, bought and wore many of her designs. Carnegie passed away in 1956 and her jewelry company went on under the leadership of Larry Josephs who closed the company in the 1970's. 10953
