This is a gorgeous rhinestone demi parure including a necklace, bracelet and earrings. The multi color rhinestones are clustered in a shape like a flower, while fancy filigree scallops with faux pearls are surrounded by antique gold tone findings. While unmarked it is a Florenza creation.
Florenza signed most of their pieces, but not all of them. However, the design of the chain is a dead giveaway, as are the fine antiqued filigree base, faux pearls, and glass `gemstones' which are all hallmarks of this fine jewelry company. A similar set, with different color rhinestones, is pictured on pg. 149 of Collecting Costume Jewelry 101 by Julia Carroll with values updated in 2006.
SIZE: Necklace is adjustable up to 17" long, with the main decoration area 7 ½" by 1" wide. Earrings measure 1". The bracelet is 7" long and 1" wide.
CONDITION: Wonderful pre-owned condition. All the rhinestones are clean with no dead stones. Nice finish. Sparkly clean and ready to wear!
HISTORY: Florenza was in business from 1948 until 1981. The company was started by Daniel Kasoff in New York City. They are known for their Victorian look and other antique styles. 10623
