This is a beautiful Grindley wash bowl that has become separated from it's set.
It is ex-large, at 18" across, and octagonal shaped! It is white with a green transferware floral design.
At Christmas fill with greenery and ornaments, or for Fall fill with gourds and pumpkins for a fall splash of color.
On Valentine's Day this bowl holds all your colorful Valentine Day cards!
These huge bowls make wonderful fruit, vegetable or potpourri bowls, and make a very bold statement.
In summer fill with ice and beverages for a celebration. The uses are never ending!

MARKS: It is marked Doreen, the pattern name, and WH. Grindley & Co. England.
This mark was used from 1891-1914 on their Ironstone and Earthenware items.
The factory was in Longton, Staffordshire, England.
Also marked with the letter F the number 41 and ENGLAND in gold print.
SIZE: 18" across by 4-1/8" deep in the middle and measures 46" around directly under the rim.
CONDITION: Great pre-owned condition with no chips, no cracks and only extremely minor crazing. Water tight!
