These are so lovely! Classic Miriam Haskell all the way. Gold tone findings and wonderful baroque glass pearls. Each piece of Miriam Haskell jewelry is entirely hand made!
These earrings are dangling or drop style, with the comfort clip.
MARKS/SIGNATURES: Signed on the back of the clip-on arm Haskell, and again Miriam Haskell in a round pattern.
CONDITION: Great pre-owned condition. All original. No missing stones. Only the very lightest wear to the findings backs, and to one small 'flower' pearl.
SIZE: These earrings measure 2 3/4" long overall. There are three "drops" about 1' long.
HISTORY: Miriam Haskell began business in 1924 when she came from Indiana to NYC and opened a shop. She started the Miriam Haskell Company in 1926. No jewelry was marked in any permanent way from 1926 until 1947, and only occasionally marked from 1947 until 1949. Haskell sold her business in 1954 to Frank Hess and Morris Kensler, and it has had various owners since then. The company is still in business today.
Your purchase will arrive in a new gift box.
***AS AN ADDED NOTE: These pictures were all taken with a zoom lens so they look larger than they actually are. Please check the actual measurements.
