Possibly a Miriam Haskell multi strand choker torsade seed bead coral glass necklace.
While this choker has some attributes of Miriam Haskell, I am not 100% sure.
None of her early pieces prior to 1947 were signed.
So you would not expect to find a hang tag or signature.
HISTORY: Miriam Haskell began business in 1924 when she came from Indiana to NYC and opened a shop.
She started the Miriam Haskell Company in 1926.
No jewelry was marked in any permanent way from 1926 until 1947, and only occasionally marked from 1947 until 1949.
Haskell sold her business in 1954 to Frank Hess and Morris Kensler, and it has had various owners since then.
The company is still in business today.
SIZE: It is 15-3/4" inches long, or choker length.
CONDITION: Good condition. The beading is secure and the strands are strong.
The single faceted bead at the closure has some finish loss. It is the only issue I see,
otherwise all is good.
