Period: Meiji (1868-1912)
This antique, late 19th century Japanese jardinière is executed in multi-colored cloisonné enamels in an overall floral pattern. It has a small flared lip on a bulbous body tapering to a metal rimmed round foot. The strongly colored red and turquoise enamels are an attractive combination.
