Steuben Glass Works (Corning, NY, 1903-2011)
Art Nouveau/ Art Deco period. This is a scarce shape that displays a rich blue aurene ribbed body, similar to Tiffany's Blue Favrile color and has all of the character design qualities of a #938 lampshade. These vases were produced in the 1920's to help boost sales at Steuben. They were made in both blue and gold Aurene as well as a few other crystal colors and were inspired from a lamp shade design. Signed: Aurene.
