(Borneo Island, Indonesia) An antique, Southeast Asian wooden statue or hampatong from Borneo meant to represent a guardian or ancestor. These figures were also used to mark territories. It shows weathering that may indicate it was buried at some point. The wood is very heavy and may be ironwood.
